What: Mt. Laurel Spring Festival

When: Saturday, April 17th, 2010 from 10am - 4pm.

Where: Mt. Laurel, AL (Just off 280, base of Oak Mountain) [map/directions]

Mt. Laurel will hold its annual Spring Festival Saturday, April 17th, 2010 from 10am - 4pm. This year's festival features a farmer's market and craft fair, a tour of new homes, inflatable kids' activities, hay rides, a visit from Snow White, face painting and a scarecrow ride!

And now... Alabama Fandom will be there in Force! Our affiliates (AlabamaGB, SWSyndicate, Dixie Hallows and Pirates of the Cahaba) have officially been invited to attend the event and add our own flavor of entertainment and excitement for the kids and adults alike!

Come on out and enjoy - costume or not. We're equal opportunity in the fan club scene - that is the Alabama Fandom way!

I want to come, but it won't be until after 1, because I have so much going on in April, (out of town 2 weekends) that it's the only Saturday I'm able to work, and I've gotta be fair and do at least one a month.

well, dagflabbit.  just realized it's my nephew's third birthday party right smack in the middle of that, and my family has about 50-50 tolerance of my "weird costume things" because for some reason, my things tend to fall on the same date as their things.  LOL.  oh well.  my nephew IS a cutie pie!  Tongue

funny how those tolerance things go  Tongue

I see the date and think uh-oh, I may be bowing out of this one as well, don't think I'll get home in time from something I'm doing earlier that day. Besides, I gotta sew on my costume a bit more to make it comfortable  Sigh

Great news! After much effort, I have acquired permission from the Fire Chief of the Mt. Laurel Fire Department to use their facility for filming. With any luck, we should have some workable footage soon!

If it's a two story firehouse, then you have to use the firepoles. It's your civic duty as a Ghostbuster to use the firepoles!

Sounds like a blast Smiley  Have fun!
